Isoform 2 activates transcription presumably by sequestering inhibitory cofactors away from the promoters. Belongs to the bZIP family.  | Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using ATF3 antibody (CAB13470) at 1:1000 dilution. Raw264.7 cells were treated by LPS (1 ug/mL) at 37°C for 8 hours. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (CABS014) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit (RM00020). Exposure time: 120s. |
