The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (30-H12) is a meticulously purified antibody intended for research applications involving CD90.2, a significant marker for identifying mouse T cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and various subsets of lymphocytes. This monoclonal antibody, generated using hybridoma technology, exhibits exceptional specificity and sensitivity in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and other experimental techniques. By specifically targeting the CD90.2 antigen, this antibody enables precise detection and characterization of cell populations expressing this marker, facilitating comprehensive analyses in immunology, stem cell research, and beyond.CD90.2, also known as Thy1.2 antigen, serves as a pivotal marker for distinguishing between different cell types within the immune system and other tissues.
Its expression patterns and functional roles have been extensively studied in the context of immune responses, inflammation, and tissue regeneration. Researchers investigating T cell biology, stem cell populations, and immune cell interactions rely on CD90.2 as a key indicator for cell identification and isolation in diverse experimental settings. The availability of a highly purified monoclonal antibody like 30-H12 streamlines these research efforts, providing a reliable tool for exploring the intricate roles of CD90.2 in various physiological and pathological processes.

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
