The Purified Mouse CD28 Monoclonal Antibody (37-51) (AGEL0759) offered by AssayGenie is a high-quality antibody designed for research applications involving CD28, a crucial co-stimulatory molecule in T cell activation. This monoclonal antibody, specifically targeting the CD28 protein in mice, is ideal for studying immune responses and T cell activation mechanisms.CD28 is essential for T cell activation and proliferation, playing a pivotal role in regulating immune responses. The purified mouse CD28 monoclonal antibody (37-51) (AGEL0759) is rigorously validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various experimental settings, such as flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
By targeting the CD28 protein, researchers can effectively investigate T cell activation pathways and unravel the complexities of immune regulation. This antibody's superior quality and specificity make it a valuable tool for studying immune responses, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders in preclinical research. With its reliable performance and accurate detection of CD28, the purified mouse CD28 monoclonal antibody (37-51) (AGEL0759) from AssayGenie is an essential reagent for researchers seeking to deepen their understanding of T cell biology and immune system function.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µL volume or 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Background:
CD28 is a 44 kD glycoprotein, also known as Tp44 or T44. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, expressed on thymocytes, most peripheral T cells, and NK cells. In association with CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2), CD28 acts as the second signal for T and NK cell activation and proliferation. The 37.51 antibody has been reported to augment in vitro T cell proliferation and cytokine production, and promote CTL development.
