The Mouse LY-6G/LY-6C (GR-1) Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5.5 Conjugated) (RB6-8C5) is a powerful tool for research in immunology and cancer biology. This antibody, designed for use in flow cytometry applications, specifically targets the LY-6G and LY-6C proteins, markers of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and granulocytes.MDSCs are a heterogeneous population of immune cells known for their immunosuppressive functions in the tumor microenvironment. The RB6-8C5 antibody allows for precise identification and analysis of MDSCs and granulocytes in various samples, aiding in the study of immune responses in cancer, inflammation, and infection.
By using this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the regulation of immune responses and the role of MDSCs in tumor progression and immune evasion. This antibody is a valuable asset for studies aiming to uncover strategies for targeting MDSCs in cancer therapy and developing novel immunotherapies.Overall, the Mouse LY-6G/LY-6C (GR-1) Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5.5 Conjugated) (RB6-8C5) is a high-quality reagent that enables precise and reliable detection of MDSCs and granulocytes, making it an essential tool for cutting-edge research in immunology and oncology.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
Gr-1 is a 21-25 kD protein also known as Ly-6G/Ly-6C. This myeloid differentiation antigen is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein expressed on granulocytes and macrophages. In bone marrow, the expression levels of Gr-1 directly correlate with granulocyte differentiation and maturation; Gr-1 is also transiently expressed on bone marrow cells in the monocyte lineage. Immature Myeloid Gr-1+ cells play a role in the development of antitumor immunity.
