The Mouse CD80 Monoclonal Antibody PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated (16-10A1) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune responses and immune cell interactions. This antibody specifically targets CD80, a critical co-stimulatory molecule involved in T cell activation and immune regulation. With its PE/Cyanine7 conjugation, this antibody offers the advantage of dual fluorescence labeling, allowing for multiplex analysis in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence assays. The 16-10A1 antibody is derived from mouse monoclonal sources, ensuring high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD80 expression in mouse samples.CD80, also known as B7-1, is a key player in the complex network of immune checkpoints that modulate T cell activation and tolerance.
By targeting CD80 with this conjugated monoclonal antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into immune signaling pathways, immune cell activation, and regulatory mechanisms. This antibody is a valuable tool for investigating immune responses in various experimental settings, from basic immunology research to studies on autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and cancer immunotherapy. With its high quality and specificity, the Mouse CD80 Monoclonal Antibody PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated (16-10A1) is an essential reagent for advancing our understanding of immune system function and developing novel therapeutic approaches.

Background:
CD80 is a 60 kD highly glycosylated protein. It is a member of the Ig superfamily and is also known as B7-1, B7, and Ly-53. CD80 is constitutively expressed on dendritic cells and monocytes/macrophages, and inducibly expressed on activated B and T cells. The ligation of CD28 on T cells with CD80 and CD86 (B7-2) on antigen presenting cells (such as dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells) elicits co-stimulation of T cells resulting in enhanced cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production. CD80 appears to be expressed later in the immune response than CD86. CD80 can also bind to CD152, also known as CTLA-4, to deliver an inhibitory signal to T cells.
