The Mouse CD25 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated (PC61.5.3) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune regulation in mice. This antibody, conjugated with PE-Cyanine5.5, targets the CD25 protein, also known as the Interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, which plays a crucial role in immune responses and tolerance.CD25 is a marker for regulatory T cells, a subset of T cells that play a key role in maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. This antibody, derived from a monoclonal source, is highly specific for CD25 and can be used in flow cytometry applications to analyze and isolate regulatory T cells in mouse samples.
By targeting CD25, researchers can better understand the mechanisms of immune regulation and tolerance in various disease contexts, including autoimmune disorders, allergies, and cancer. This antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the role of regulatory T cells in these conditions and developing targeted therapies that modulate immune responses.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD25 is a 55 kD glycoprotein, also known as the low affinity IL-2Rα, Ly-43, p55, or Tac. It is expressed on activated T and B cells, thymocyte subset, pre-B cells, and T regulatory cells. In association with CD122 (IL-2Rβ) and CD132(common γ chain), CD25 forms the high affinity signaling IL-2 receptor.
