The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) 19G11 (AGEL0809) is a vital tool for research in immunology, particularly focusing on CD1d, a glycoprotein involved in antigen presentation to natural killer T (NKT) cells. This antibody, derived from a mouse hybridoma, exhibits high specificity for mouse CD1d and is conjugated to allophycocyanin (APC) for efficient detection in flow cytometry and fluorescence-based assays.CD1d is a key player in the activation and regulation of NKT cells, which bridge the innate and adaptive immune responses. By binding specifically to mouse CD1d, the 19G11 antibody enables precise identification and characterization of CD1d-expressing cells in various experimental systems.
This makes it an invaluable tool for investigating the role of NKT cells in immune surveillance, tolerance, and response to pathogens. The versatile nature of the Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) 19G11 (AGEL0809) makes it well-suited for a wide range of research applications, including immunophenotyping, cell sorting, and functional studies involving NKT cells in immune-related diseases such as autoimmunity, infectious diseases, and cancer. Researchers looking to explore the intricate interactions between NKT cells and CD1d can benefit greatly from the specificity and reliability of this monoclonal antibody.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
