The Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) (CXCR3-173) is a cutting-edge tool designed for research applications involving the CXCR3 chemokine receptor. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with AF647 for enhanced detection capabilities, is highly specific to mouse samples and is validated for use in various experimental techniques, including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.CXCR3 is a key receptor involved in the recruitment and activation of immune cells, particularly T cells, in response to inflammatory signals. Its role in regulating immune responses and influencing cell migration makes it a crucial target for studies in immunology, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases.
By precisely binding to the CXCR3 receptor, this monoclonal antibody enables researchers to analyze and understand the expression and activity of CXCR3 in different cell populations, facilitating investigations into immune cell function and potential therapeutic interventions.Whether exploring immune cell trafficking in inflammatory conditions, investigating the role of chemokine receptors in cancer metastasis, or studying immune responses in various disease contexts, the Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) (CXCR3-173) offers a reliable and specific tool for advancing research in the field of immunology.

Background:
CD183/CXCR3, also known as CXCR3, is a member of the C-X-C chemokine family, characterized by a pair of cysteine residues separated by a single amino acid. CXCR3 is a 38 kD seven pass transmembrane receptor coupled to G-protein. It mediates Ca2+ mobilization and chemotaxis in response to C-X-C chemokines, such as IP10 (CXCL10), MIG (CXCL9), I-TAC (CXCL11) and PF4 (CXCL4). CXCR3 is expressed primarily on activiated T lymphocytes, NK cells, and some epithelial cells and endothelial cells. It is not expressed on B cells, monocytes or granulocytes.
