The Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, N418) is a valuable tool for researchers studying immune responses in mice. This antibody, generated against the CD11c protein, is conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE) for easy detection and analysis in flow cytometry experiments. CD11c is a marker commonly used to identify dendritic cells, a key immune cell population involved in antigen presentation and immune regulation. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, N418) is suitable for a wide range of applications in immunology research.
It allows for precise detection and quantification of CD11c-expressing cells in various tissues and experimental models, aiding in the characterization of dendritic cell populations and their role in immune responses. This antibody is an essential tool for investigating immune cell dynamics, inflammatory processes, and immune cell subsets in mouse models. Its reliability and performance ensure accurate and reproducible results, making it an indispensable reagent for studies focusing on dendritic cell biology, immune responses, and vaccine development in preclinical research settings.

Background:
CD11c is a 150 kD glycoprotein also known as αX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a αXβ2 heterodimer with β2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The αXβ2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.
