Human PICP (Procollagen I C-terminal Propeptide) CLIA Kit
The Human PICP (Procollagen I C-terminal propeptide) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of PICP levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This advanced kit offers unparalleled sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.PICP is an important marker for collagen synthesis, reflecting the formation of type I collagen in the body.
It plays a vital role in connective tissue health and integrity, making it a key biomarker for studying conditions such as fibrosis, osteoporosis, and skin disorders. By accurately measuring PICP levels, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of these conditions and explore potential therapeutic interventions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PICP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PICP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PICP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human PICP. You can calculate the concentration of Human PICP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
