Human GRP78 (Glucose Regulated Protein 78) ELISA Kit
The Human GRP78 (Glucose-Regulated Protein 78) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise and reliable measurement of GRP78 levels in human biological samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. GRP78, also known as BiP, is a key molecular chaperone involved in protein folding and assembly, particularly in response to cellular stress such as glucose deprivation or endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. Abnormal expression of GRP78 has been linked to various diseases including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research and diagnostic purposes.
This ELISA kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results for studying the role of GRP78 in disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions. Ideal for a wide range of research applications, the Human GRP78 ELISA Kit provides a valuable tool for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying various health conditions.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human GRP78. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human GRP78 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human GRP78, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human GRP78. You can calculate the concentration of Human GRP78 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
