The Human CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying the CD11c cell surface marker, a key component of the immune system involved in dendritic cell function. This antibody, designated as BU15 (AGEL1463), is specifically tailored for detecting and analyzing CD11c expression in human samples. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it well-suited for flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.CD11c is a crucial molecule found on dendritic cells, a type of antigen-presenting cell essential for initiating immune responses. By targeting CD11c, researchers can gain insights into dendritic cell activity, immune system functioning, and inflammatory processes.
This monoclonal antibody facilitates the identification and characterization of CD11c-positive cells, aiding in the study of immune responses, infection, autoimmune diseases, and vaccine development. With its advanced conjugation technology, this antibody offers researchers precise and reliable results in their investigations of CD11c expression and function. Unlocking the mysteries of CD11c through the use of this antibody can lead to deeper understandings of immune responses and novel therapeutic approaches in various fields of immunology and disease research.

Background:
CD11c is a 145-150 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as integrin αX and CR4. CD11c non-covalently associates with integrin β2 (CD18) and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11c has been reported to play a role in adhesion and CTL killing through its interactions with fibrinogen, CD54, and iC3b.
