Human Alk-Smase (Alkaline Sphingomyelinase) CLIA Kit
The Human ALK-SMASE (alkaline sphingomyelinase) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of ALK-SMASE levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for a variety of research applications. ALK-SMASE is an enzyme that plays a critical role in sphingomyelin metabolism, which is essential for maintaining cell membrane integrity and signal transduction. Dysregulation of ALK-SMASE activity has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular conditions.
Therefore, the detection of ALK-SMASE levels can provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. By using the Human ALK-SMASE CLIA Kit, researchers can gain valuable information on the activity of this important enzyme, advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease. This kit is a valuable tool for studying sphingomyelin metabolism and its implications for various pathological conditions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human Alk-Smase. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human Alk-Smase and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human Alk-Smase, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human Alk-Smase. You can calculate the concentration of Human Alk-Smase in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
